受困逾兩周終於脫困 泰國4足球隊員獲救
: 泰國少年足球隊受困洞穴超過兩周，當局在周日上午展開救援行動。在台灣時間8號晚上六點四十分左右，4名受困少年終於重見天日。雖然洞穴中抽出大量積水，大部分的地方都可以步行通過，不過仍然有需要潛水的路段，所以是由兩名救難人員帶著一名受困足球隊員離開，由於這周又要開始下雨，當局在今天將展開第二波救援行動。
救援行動指揮官：「經過16天的漫長等待，我們終於看到，野豬足球隊員了。」
泰國當局週日上午展開救援行動，派出13名來自各地的潛水高手和5名泰國海軍陸戰隊員進洞救人。兩人一組(#07 0128)，一人領頭，一人殿後照明，拉著救生繩索離開洞穴。
記者：「4名男孩從被困的淹水洞穴中脫困，並且套房飯店送往醫院，你可以看到其中一人，被送上直升機。」
救護車大聲鳴笛，開上顛簸的泥巴路，載著從脫困隊員前往醫院。在醫院外守候的媒體，從白天等到晚上，終於看到救護車的燈光，都鬆了一口氣，官方表示4人健康情況還算良好，將會住進隔離病房治療。
醫師古普塔：「(醫師會檢查)他們是否脫水，脫水程度多嚴重，上一次進食是什麼時候，他們的腎是否因為脫水受到影響等等。」
這次搜救行動比預期順利，不過還有8名隊員和教練受困。
救援行動指揮官：「我們必須重新補充，逃生路線上的氧氣瓶，因為今天的行動已經耗盡所有氧氣。」
當局最快今天就要進行第二波救援行動，因為氣象預測從今天開始，降雨率大約是8到9成，救難人員要跟時間賽跑，在大雨來臨前，將剩下的人安全救出洞穴。

蘇澳籍春何豐166號漁船20日出海捕魚，因海象惡劣、漁船機件故障失去動力，向海巡署求救，海巡署卻要求海軍紀德級軍艦伴護救援，遭批「簡直是大砲打小鳥！」對此，國防部發言人陳中吉今(23)日表示，保護國家、守護人民是國軍職責，很多不能用金錢衡量，最重要是結果是大家所樂見的，能夠讓漁船平安返港。
根據媒體報導，蘇澳籍春何豐166號漁船20日出海捕魚，因海象惡劣、漁船機件故障失去動力，向海巡署求救，但海巡署以海浪過大無法派船前去營救，反而要求返航的海軍1801紀德級軍艦伴護，遭批「簡直是大砲打小鳥！」
對此，陳中吉表示，發生事故是在20日那天，因為海象不佳，漁船因為機械故障，在海象惡劣、失去動力的情況下，當然需要緊急救援。
陳中吉說，漁船先向海巡署提出相關申請，但因海象惡劣的情況下，艦艇出去也有相關的維安因素，所以當天紀德級基隆艦在外海執行訓練任務，也是因為海象惡劣於是返港，在返港同時接獲相當訊息，海軍義無反顧，就接下任務，最重要的是讓漁船能夠平安返港，軍方在執行這些任務是沒問題的，也能夠體現軍民一家精神，在保障漁民安全上盡心力。
對於紀德級軍艦伴護花費估計60萬元，陳中吉則說，平常國軍保護國家、守護人民是國軍職責，很多不能用金錢?量，最重要是結果是大家所樂見的，能夠讓漁船平安返港。
